Trill Entertainment execs, Lil Boosie accused 1 Year, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
On May 8, Trill Entertainment executives Melvin Vernell Jr., of Baton Rouge, and Marcus Roach, of Prairieville, Louisiana have been arrested and accused of 2nd degree attempted murder. They are accused of tryin to kill Bruce “Beelow’’ Moore in 2005. The two were waiting on weather or not District Judge Mike Erwin would grant them bail today.
Prosecutor Charles Grey tried to deny bond, stating that the execs would try to run, and also become harmful threats to cooperating witnesses involved in this case.
Grey also has the assistance from the feds in this case as well. Special agent Antony Jung has been testifying against the execs during a two-day hearing. His statement coincided with Grey's about the execs being a flight risk regardless of them being respectable local businessmen. Jung also gave testimony that they have information stating that Trill Ent. artist Lil Boosie was involved in the murder of Baton Rouge rapper Chris “Nussie’’ Jackson on Feburary 9. Information from the feds stated that Boosie put out a $30,000 bounty on the rapper. No update yet if the judge granted bond or not.

Shout out to Joe Gyan Jr. of The Advocate Louisiana for his coverage on the story.
