Rapper C-Murder in Jail For Life : Appeal Rejected

C-Murder, real named Corey Miller, was recently convicted of shooting a teenager in 2002. The teenager died in the shooting and he was sentenced to life in jail.
However, a Louisiana appeals court has upheld the murder conviction and life sentence for him.
The three-judge panel from the state’s 5th Circuit Court of Appeal rejected the argument from the rapper saying that he didn’t get a fair trail.
The rapper was convicted of second-degree murder by a jury in 2009.
The murder took place at a nightclub and the victim was 16-year-old named Steve Thomas.
Miller in his appeal claimed that the prosecutor systematically eliminated black people from the jury. However, the 5th Circuit board rejected all these arguments upholding the murder conviction and the life sentence
