What good E One Letter could you introduce yourself to our readers ?
Whats good man. I'm E one letter a hip hop artist from the D.c. area also known as the DMV which stands for D.c. Maryland, and Virginia
So describe the music scene in Dc ?
The music seen in D.c. has really progressed in the last few years. This place use to be all about go go music. But now more and more people are really getting in to the hip hop. With WALE being a national artist it is starting to bring attention to the area.
You ever thought about doin a GoGo song?
I actually have a go go song called drop and give me 50 on my mix tape called now or never which can be downloaded at datpiff.com the thing is if you are a artist from this area somewhere in your catalog you will probably have at least one or two songs that are go go inspired.
What the meanin behind the name E One Letter?
The name was pretty simple and it was given to me by one of my cousins my nickname is already E so in a lot of my freestyles I would say E or oneletter i use to say its only oneletter its only one E my cousin was like man that it that who you are and i went with it.
Who are some of the artist that inspired you musically growning up?
Man its so many I cant name the all but I will name a few because I was the jukebox network kid while kids were watching cartoons I was watching jukebox network to the point I memorized what the videos were as they wre requested on the screen lol. But man the artist that really influenced me growing up was Tupac, Scarface, Ugk, the whole Cash Money and Ruff Ryders movement. umm Nas Jay-z that's just a few I love when people have longevity in the game those are the most fluential people to me.
For a person who hasn't heard your music how would you describe your style?
My style varies in terms of content and beat style I give street raps, story raps, club joints, songs for the women a little bit of everything except for maybe political rap. But overall my music is high energy and it kinda of motivates cause you can her the passion, hunger and the drive I have in my music. I'm not a character I'm me u know.
So what are you working on now ?
Right now I have a few things I'm working on I have a single called earlobe that I'm about to start pushing I also have a street single about to hit the streets called the policly which I am planning to do a video for I'm also working on a new mixtape called no conscious and an ep that will be for sale you have to position yourself to be able to make a profit so the single and the ep will be available on itunes i plan to have he singles out in ready within the next couple of months with the mixtape and ep to follow
Why do you think Dc is so under the radar for the Hip hop scene?
In my opinion D.c. has always been a place that supported artist outside the area but not the ones in the area that's one thing the other is d.c. has just really gotten in to hip hop in a major way in terms of artist the last few years it used to be all about go go but that is really changing now as we get a few more major artist we will start to be more known as a hip hop place. The talent is here is just about the people hearing it.
What was your thoughts on the 'South" Vh1 hip hop honors? who would be your list?
I think its a great thing the south has brought a lot to the game for many years even before the whole Atl movement. On my list in terms of artist would be scarface and the ghetto boys, u.g.k. Luke, 8 ball & mjg. Artist like that who were around before the big movement came about who really pioneered it.
Beside yourself who are you feelin right now ?
In terms of new artist I would have to say Drake is cool, J. cole, J electronica and Nipsy Hussle. Those are the ones I'm feelin
What Beefs you?
Nothing really man except beef itself, I think its corny and played out. Competition is cool but all the extra stuff is stupid to me I feel like if your music cant speak for itself you really should not say much. I let my music speak for me cause at the end of the day that's what its about the music.
What is your Social network?

Any last words?
Yeah man thanks for the interview and to the people if you have a dream its never overnight and its never easy but if its in your heart never stop and you can never fail.
17 year old Baton Rouge, LA teenager Michael Louding has been charged with murdering regional rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson and 5 other men in a string of killings dating back to February 2009.
The murder indictment was announced yesterday (June 4) by Louisiana’s East Baton Rouge Parish, and the teen faces 5 counts of 1st degree murder, 1 count of 2nd degree murder, and 2 counts of attempted 1st degree murder.
Last year, Dope Family Family rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson died following a gunshot wound to the head on February 9. He was 33 years old.
Trill Entertainment rapper Lil Boosie was named as a primary suspect, with FBI agent Anthony Jung stating his bureau received information that Boosie initiated the slaying by placing a $30,000 hit on Jackson. Before his death, the two had been feuding on wax with Boosie recording the diss song “What Goes Up Must Come Down.’
Boosie was never charged, and is currently in the second of a 4 year sentence for drug possession.
Trill Entertainment CEO’s Melvin Vernell Jr. and Marcus Roach were cleared of the 2005 attempted murder of another local rapper, Bruce “Beelow” Moore, in March. Moore was shot twice in the face outside of his store-front business, in a crime prosecutors claimed was over Moore’s bootlegging of Louisiana artists. The case was dismissed due to the prosecution taking more than 2 years to try the men.
In addition to the February 2009 Nussie murder, Michael Louding faces charges for killing Marcus Thomas (April 2009), Terry Boyd (October 2009), Charles Matthews, and Darryl Milton. The latter two are the most recent crimes, with both being murdered on April 1, 2010 while sitting in a parked car.
3 other teenagers from Baton Rouge ranging in age from 16 to 19 will also face 1st degree murder counts in the Milton and Matthews’ slayings.
On Monday (June 7), both state and federal officials are expected to be present at a news conference revealing more details about the case.
At press time, it is unknown whether Michael Louding and his accomplices acted alone, or were part of a larger criminal conspiracy.

As she continues her rise to fame Nicki Minaj has become the latest celebrity to be named in a sex tape scandal.
A sex tape of Young Money’s Harajuku Barbie has reportedly surfaced showing a pre-fame Minaj engaged in various sex acts.
The tape is reportedly being sold for over $100,000 and shows a younger version of Nicki Minaj performing sexually on camera.
Excerpts from the tape are expected to leak to the net soon but no word on whether it features men or women in the scenes.
As previously reported Nicki has admitted to being an openly bi-sexual woman.
She told Details magazine that she hopes rap becomes more “gay friendly” so that an openly gay male rapper can prevail.
“I think the world is getting more gay-friendly, so hip-hop is too. But it’s harder to imagine an openly gay male rapper being embraced. People view gay men as having no street credibility. But I think we’ll see one in my lifetime…”
She also told Details that she views herself as a role model and feels pressure to tone down her racy image.
“I do. I’m a role model now. I didn’t know I was gonna have 13-year-old fans, so I’ve tried to change a few things here and there. But I also know that the girls don’t want me to be Miley Cyrus, either.”
Since Mystikal’s January release from jail, the former No Limit Soldier has been making his rounds delving back into the rap game.
As previously reported, Mystikal, real name Michael Tyler, served a six year sentence for sexual battery and extortion. Now he’s reflecting on his time behind bars and says that he grew in prison. He tells Complex that he left Mystikal behind and let Michael Tyler serve the time allowing him to become stronger and wiser.
“It was nothing that I had to try to do. Because Michael Tyler was in there. I left Mystikal at the gate because he was gonna be a distraction and create problems for me there, and I allowed Michael Tyler to do that time. I played him down as much as I could and by doing that, I had the opportunity to really grow in there and wise up…”
He also tells Complex that when he was released he was shocked at how much technology had changed. Instead of being mailed beats, he was receiving them through his email and got “plugged into the Matrix.”
“A lot of things have changed with this technology. When I came home, dudes were trying to get beats to me. I’m like, “Here’s my address, Fed Ex it to me,” and they like, “I’m gonna email it to you.” I’m like, “N*gga, what?!! For real?” It’s crazy. And by being a viral situation, you can press a button and get to so many people man. Them dudes in trouble! You don’t want to plug me in the Matrix. A n*gga like me in the Matrix? Man, come on, a n*gga can’t f*ck with me, for real.”
Mystikal also confirmed that he’d be appearing at VH1’s Hip-Hop Honors alongside Master P to perform “It Ain’t My Fault” and challenged rappers to step their game up.
“I was retarded before I left. These n*ggas outta here! They have no idea. The first time I came home and said “Here I Go!” on the radio, all I heard was the pitter-patter of rappers running. Where the f*ck they going?…. A lot of these dudes had a lot of success ’cause they ain’t have no competition. We about to see how bad you’re a**is. If muthaf*ckas still say you cold after I release this album, you a bad muthaf*cka.”
