How did you get started as a producer? Who or what inspired you?
I initially got started as a producer by taking a mandatory Classical piano class in highschool, that I didn't like at first. It started from me playing any & everything that I heard on the radio. So I was inspired by all of the greats that I was listening to at that time, from Dame Grease, Scarface,Dr. Dre, Swizz Beatz to Teddy Riley, Stevie Wonder & many others.
What artists are you working with?
Currently I have a new young artist from out of the DMV who goes by Lyriciss along w/ YungE. of LikeBlood, I have a new female MC from South London named Evon the Music Bully that I just started working with. I just finished up a mixtape Project w/ an artist I interned w/ @ Hot Beats Studio by the name Mika H., plus many more So Im working with alot of talented artist right now.
What artist/producers would you like to collaborate with in the future?
I would love to work w/ Dr.Dre since he's an artist & producer, Kanye West, T.I., Eightball&MJG, Bun B, Scarface. All of the legends that make me what I am today.
What is your approach to working with artists?
My first approach is to observe how serious they are, and the drive & dedication they have for their craft. That normaly narrows it down. From there I try to match their sound, or compliment & enhance what they are already doing to get them to that next level.
Do you have any publishing deal or you self published?
I'm self Published ("WutItDo Productions") Officially since 2006.
What or who inspires you?
I honestly listen to nothing but 60's 70's & 80's Vinyls Mostly R&B/Soul & Rock. I'm a Vintage Vinyl collector so its also fun for me to sit back & Listen to real heartfelt music.
What are your goals?
My goals are to continue delivering my sound to the talented up & coming artist all over the world as well as established Artist of today
What sets you apart from other producers?
My grind sets me apart from others. You gotta be seen in this over saturated industry, & work a thousand times harder, so I've done it all from Beat Battles to Showcases to Music Seminars just so the people could receive & hear my Music.
What style of music do you focus on?
It depends on the Artist that I'm working with. If its a Lyrical artist I may focus more on Hip Hop. if its a Pop or R&B I'll focus on that style. I'm kinda like Burger King you can have it your way...Lol
If you can change one thing about the industry what would it be?
I would change the Politics in the business. I know so many artist that will not see the light of day because of Politics & their better than most Artist out now.
