OTR: Where did the groupsname come about? The name originated back in our days at western kentucky university. Well, how the story goes...I (Ron Clutch) was one of the campus barbers keeping Skinny Deville and erbody trimmed up . And one day my clippers broke so we had to rock the "nappy" look with just a tight shapeup. So, that paired with how we was living, day to day, staying within our means, keeping it real to where we came from "our roots" it eventualy work its way into our everyday slang and into lyrcs, henceforth "Nappy Roots".

T: Always

OTR: As for fans, What do you want to say to them right now?
T: I Love you all so much because you support my music with so much fire! I appreciate the fact that my fans use the tell a friend method. That's how my myspace plays hit 20,000

What is your street banger right now?

Cw:   I don’t know about a street banger, the streets will have to determine which one bangs but as far as I am concerned I am a Banger and everything I do is golden.  I have new songs already being distributed on ITunes and all the other virtual stores through my partner XL/ XL Productionz and I will be dropping new songs every month that way as well as putting out a tangible Chyna Whyte album in the near future. I want to stay as independent as possible and it takes time and money to build that way.

OTR - What are you thoughts on Tupac’s music and influence?
TS - I love Tupac, he was the realest, and I’m real – so you know, real recognize real. I just love him. I am out here supporting, anything his mom is doing, I am supporting.

Q - How do you feel about being apart of this Tupac event and his legacy?

A - Well I’m from the city of Oakland, California, so Tupac to us – I don’t want to offend no of these Christians or nothing, but Tupac to us was like Jesus. That’s our “Black Jesus”.

Kna Knook (na nook) aka Adrian Stewart is a true legend record breaker to the streets. He has work with many various different artist who has either went gold or platnum from the likes of Ying Yang Twins,Luke,Outcast,JT Money and etc.

His start began back in 1993 at a local record store call Spin City own by Jimmy Reid, he pass out flyers around the neighborhood of album release artists and album signing.

What is your Education/Experience Level? Graduated with a bachelors degree from CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY (C-A-U!)

In the late 1970s when Hip-Hop had begun to spread from New York throughout the United States, nobody would have ever expected for it to leave the lasting impressions that it has; especially with it being written off as being a deviant subculture.

However for youth worldwide, Hip-Hop was the revolution to something very unique and ingenious. One of those youth who had fallen in-love with Hip-Hop at an early age was Chad Butler.
